When you move in to the accommodation, you should be provided with a small leaflet with information about how to download your shuttle bus pass. We have also included information below on how to download and use your shuttle bus pass.
- Go to your App store such as Google Play or Apple Store, and download myTrip
- Open the app and from the menu on the left select 'Mobile Tickets'
- Scroll down and select Yorkshire Buses
- Select 'Storthes Hall' and then 'University of Huddersfield Student'
- You will then need to register your details and add a credit or a debit card - you will be required to pay £1.00 to set up the mobile ticket
- Once you have purchased your ticket, select activate and use the QR code on the scanner on the bus each time you alight
Your shuttle pass will allow you free travel between 0600 and 2100. After 2100 a subsidised fare of £2.00 for a single and £3.50 for a return applies. You are able to cut the slip from the bottom of your Yorkshire Buses leaflet provided to you on arrival, to claim back the £1.00 paid to download the app, as a discount from 1 journey after 21.00.
