We are sure that you have already started to buy items ready for moving in. We have compiled a list of things that you will need to bring with you, but it all comes down to personal preference!
What we provide in your room:
- Bed and Mattress (single unless you have booked a classic double room)
- Desk and desk chair
- Waste bin
- Shelving units
- Notice board
- Wardrobe with mirror on inside of door
- Ensuite – wet room shower curtain provided
What we provide in your communal Kitchen:
- Communal mop and bucket, ash pan and brush, and hoover
- Fridges and freezers
- Microwave
- Kettle
- Hob and oven ( Classic Sociable style 1 hobs are induction)
- TV in the communal area (classic plus rooms only)
Things you need to bring:
- Pots, pans and cooking equipment (induction compatible pans are required in the classic sociable style 1)
- Plates, bowls, and cutlery
- Food
- Phone charger
- Bedding - mattress protector, duvet and pillows
- Cleaning materials
- Toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste
- Arrival pass
- Passport – you will need this for checking in
Things you may want to bring:
- Ethernet cable
- Coat hangers
- Extension cable
- Your computer and any other equipment such as printer and cables
- Iron and Ironing board
- Toaster and any other cooking items
- National Insurance documents, bank, and student finance information
- Items to personalise your room and make it your own
