If you have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace, you will need to self-isolate. Please contact us by raising a ticket at http://support.digstudent.co.uk/support/home so that we are aware and can support you during your 14 days of self-isolation. You must not leave your room for any reason other than emergencies. This includes visiting reception, university, the shop, or any other place outside of your flat. Once you have notified the site team, we will be able to support you with:

  • Getting food deliveries to your room
  • Collection of parcels
  • Laundry support
  • Bin refuse disposal – please double bag it.

You can use the shared areas within your flat but please try to use these spaces when no one else is present to avoid face to face contact. You will also need to thoroughly sanitise the areas after use. We would recommend that you create a flat group chat to help organise this.  

You do not need to arrange a test yourself unless you are experiencing symptoms. 

Finally, try not to worry as you may not contract the virus. You have been asked to self-isolate as a precaution to help reduce the spread. If you do feel anxious during the self-isolation period, then please get in touch so that we can signpost you to the necessary support services.
